National Hardware V852 Anti-Sag Gate Kit
About this deal
If you can spin the screws with your fingers while they’re still in the post, then they have stripped out the hole and are no longer securing the hinges and the gate to the post. Replace the old screws with new ones with the same diameter but a ½ inch longer. The longer screws will bore deeper into the post, securing the hinges. The gate is held in place by two hinges. Those hinges wear out with time, and screws may come free or fall out of the hinges, weakening their strength, leading the gate to move position.
