Along with husband and collaborator Arjan Miranda, Kim curates The Wild Unknown, an arts collective offering publications, artwork, music, and events that activate the forces of creativity and radical transformation. However, the card descriptions are a little too “woo-woo” for my tastes, but that is totally subjective. It's very stripped down; plenty of room to make your own meanings, for sure, and the cards are so amazing that it's easy to supply those meanings.

She explains that she did this because she felt users would be able to link them to people they knew. A black and white card image is shown on one page with the card title, key words and meaning on the adjacent page. The sixes in tarot are generally about finding a new sense of harmony after the disruption of the fives.There are times to rise above adversity peacefully with your head held high, as we saw in the previous card.

Deeper and deeper into the world of Tarot, the artist came to the conclusion that none of the existing decks fully satisfies her.Especially for it being my first deck the work you’ve done put into explaining each card has been beyond helpful!

I know where the deck came from but I know very little about the creators and – to be honest – nothing whatsoever about the artist, Kim Krans, whose name doesn’t even appear on the box.

Kim Krans is an artist, author, and the creator of The New York Times bestseller, The Wild Unknown Tarot. You need to have faith in yourself and need to have a basic understanding of who you are and what you live for.
